1. Product rationale

  • ThisSite is-an ever evolving framework for building best-case, rich-featured web sites that stay conformant to the relevant standards and guidelines.
  • The aim of ThisSite is to demonstrate feasibility of this approach and discover development patterns that help in building best-case sites still accessible to the broadest audience.
  • A side aim for ThisSite is to promote further discussion and research around the domains to cover, on both the theoretical and the technological issues.

2. Process model

  • ThisTeam builds on the Agile software development principles, with an emphasis on remote collaboration.
  • ThisTeam specifically pursues a radical-Agile approach enforcing continuous change through permanent engineering, and promoting continuous improvement through self-referentiality.

3. Project mission

  • To support the goals of ThisTeam along with meeting its own requirements, ThisSite is to evolve into an Open Framework implementing collaboration, sharing, and semantics up to the self-organizing system, along with 3D-based immersive interaction.

  • Adoption of a Copyleft licensing model for ThisSite is under ThisTeam's evaluation.
